Air Plugs

AIR PLUGS

At Mraz Aletados SRL, we manufacture forged plugs and header gaskets for air coolers, designed to seal the openings in the headers, allowing for inspection, cleaning, and maintenance.

We comply with the material specifications of ASME Section VIII and the threading standards of ASME B16.11, ensuring the durability and reliability of our products, which are essential for maintaining efficiency across various industries, including automotive, petrochemical, and manufacturing.

We offer custom manufacturing, and each unit includes quality and traceability certificates.

L-FIN

The L-FIN finning is achieved from an aluminum or copper strip, which is folded to obtain a characteristic L-profile<>. The attachment of this flap to the tube is of the tightening fit type. They are suitable for applications with temperatures up to 176ºC, guaranteeing optimal performance under controlled working conditions.

LOW-FIN

Its main characteristic is that the outer diameter of the finned tube is equal to or slightly less than the diameter of the tube. For heat exchangers, hull and tube.

MEDIUM-FIN

The MEDIUM-FIN finning is a type of integral finning with fins formed from the same tube.
The diameter of the finned section will depend on the tube material and the desired fin height.
MEDIUM-FIN finned tubes are found in a variety of applications, including condensers, co-axial condensers, heating coils, and coils for cooling compressed air, oil, and solvents.

high-Fin

HIGH-FIN finning features a continuous helical design, where the fins are integrally formed from the same tube material. HIGH-FIN finned tubes are used in a variety of applications, including water heaters, oil coolers, water systems, solvent systems, and both compressed air and air coolers

LONGITUDINAL INTEGRAL

Longitudinal integral finning involves using an extruded aluminum profile to form fins, resulting in a single-piece construction where the tube and fins are seamlessly integrated. This design ensures superior heat transfer efficiency and enhanced durability compared to other finning methods. Extruded longitudinal integral finned tubes are well-suited for a variety of applications, including evaporators and regasifiers.

CORRUGATED SURFACE

Finned integral corrugated surface tubes are produced through a helical embossing process on the tube wall, achieved via cold rolling. The distinctive feature of these pipes is their wavy surface, which enhances turbulence in the fluid flowing through them. Finned integral corrugated surface pipes are ideal for use in chillers, coaxial exchangers, coils, and shell-and-tube heat exchangers.

G-FIN

G-FIN finning is achieved by rolling an aluminum or copper strip onto the outer surface of a tube to form a flat helical fin. During the lamination process, the base of the fin is inserted into a slit and then securely closed, ensuring optimal clamping. This type of finned tube is commonly used in heat exchangers, cooling and heating systems, and other applications where high thermal performance and resistance to elevated temperatures are essential.

LL-FIN

The LL-FIN finning is achieved from an aluminum or copper strip, which is double-folded to obtain its characteristic LL> profile<.
The attachment of this fin to the tube is done by means of a tightening adjustment, where the foot of the fin completely covers the surface of the tube.
This ensures not only efficient heat exchange, but also firm clamping and corrosion protection.

Anillas Separadoras para Tubos Aletados

Separator Rings

Our separator rings are specifically designed to maintain consistent and precise spacing between finned tubes in heat exchangers.

Made from galvanized steel, these rings offer exceptional corrosion resistance, ensuring durability and optimal performance in demanding environments.

Each ring consists of two halves that easily snap together, allowing for quick and secure installation. This design facilitates both maintenance and assembly of thermal exchange systems, ensuring maximum operational efficiency.

KL-FIN

The KL-FIN finning is an improvement applied to the L-Fin and LL-Fin finned tubes, where a knurling is performed on the surface of the tube and on the foot of the fin.
They are recognized for their superior heat transfer performance, thanks to the mechanical improvement in the bonding of the fin material to the tube surface.
They are a preferred choice for heat exchangers, condensers, evaporators, and cooling and heating systems.

PERFORATED FIN

The PERFORATED FIN is an enhancement applicable to L-FIN, LL-FIN, and G-FIN finned tubes. It involves perforating the fins to improve air flow through them, significantly enhancing heat exchange. This technique improves thermal efficiency by allowing better air circulation and increasing the effective heat transfer surface.

AEROFIN

AEROFIN finning is a type of filler finning that features a continuous helical fin supported by a corrugated base. One of the key advantages of this finning type is its versatility, as it can accommodate nearly any material for both the tube and the fin. AEROFIN finned tubes are used in various industrial applications that demand high thermal efficiency and resistance to challenging conditions.

LONGITUDINAL DEPOSITION-FINNED

LONGITUDINAL FINNED tubes are distinguished by the addition of fins arranged longitudinally along the length of the tube, which expands the heat exchange surface. This longitudinal fin design maximizes the contact area between the hot fluid and the tube, significantly enhancing heat exchange efficiency. These tubes are an ideal choice for industrial applications that require high thermal efficiency and long-term durability.

STUDDED TUBE

The STUDDED tube is characterized by an enlarged heat exchange surface on the outer side, achieved by welding studs onto its surface. The addition of studs increases the contact area for heat transfer, which is especially beneficial in applications where the external fluid tends to foul or corrode the heat exchange surface. Studded tubes are commonly used in furnaces and boilers, where the fuels employed can cause significant dirt accumulation or corrosion.

SERRATED SOLDAFIN

The Serrated Soldafin finned tube is similar to the standard Soldafin but features a serrated helical fin instead of a flat one. The serrated fin significantly reduces dirt build-up, which enhances thermal efficiency and decreases maintenance requirements. These tubes are ideal for use indryers, boilers, furnaces, and economizers.

SOLDAFIN

The Soldafin finned tube is a type of finned tube in which a continuous helical fin with a flat support base is applied directly onto the surface of the base tube using laser welding. This type of tube is used in a variety of industrial applications, including dryers, boilers, furnaces, and economizers. Its robust design and precise welding ensure efficient heat transfer and high resistance to pressure and corrosion..

LOW-FIN

LOW-FIN finning is a type of integral finning in which the fin is formed from the same tube without adding additional material.
When the fin is formed, part of the thickness of the tube wall is used, resulting in a reduction of the wall in the finned section.
LOW-FIN finned tubes are used in hull and tube, gas-gas and liquid-gas exchangers.
